I started my museums design career at Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums, a regional group of national museums and galleries across north-east England. What started out as an 8 week summer job ended up becoming 12 years.
Leaving Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums I moved to Saudi Arabia to join the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, a multimillion-dollar cultural initiative of the national oil company of Saudi Arabia, Saudi Aramco. As Head of Design within the museum I was the creative lead in the design and management of all aspects of its design projects including branding and identity, exhibitions, permanent galleries, exhibits, international travelling displays, special events and public awareness campaigns.
I have a great deal of experience delivering a diverse range of projects that have varied significantly in size, resources and scope. This has involved the planning and management of corresponding budgets ranging from multimillion-dollar redevelopments, masterplans and initiatives through to more bespoke and economical schemes that required lateral thinking, collaboration and execution. I am committed to delivering a world-class service that is innovative, creative, inclusive and sustainable.

I consider some of my key skills to be creativity and passion for all design, but also strategic planning, resource optimization and cost efficiency. My work has been grounded in the ability to work collaboratively and lead project teams comprised of different disciplines that deliver creative and innovative end results for institutional stakeholders.
